"In 1798, an oak tree took root in the vast wilderness that would one day be Wisconsin. For the next 210 years, this tree would symbolize destiny and fortitude. In its 54th year, the Grand Oak tree greeted settlers traveling great distances to found a family farm. It provided the shelter and shade to each generation of hardworking farmers and viewed generations of children playing at its base and then saw their children do the same. They created a grand dining table for generations of the family to gather, a library to view family relics, and of course the family history table, containing all 210 rings of the old Oak Tree."
